I hate moving. ha ha

Good thing

We got our licenses swapped over

not as good:

luke spent 2 hours in line to get his and on a separate day  we spent another hour+ there to get mine

also $215 for 2 licenses, OUCH

good thing…

um we haven’t gotten a ticket for our unregistered car

really annoying bad thing:

monday am we woke th kids up and rushed them to the car to go to the RMV to register the car and get my license.

we got lost on the way to the place, getting turned around several times and hating our gps.

we finally arrive, only to discover that i forgot ALL the paperwork. not one thing made the annoying trip.

oh my gosh I was so distraught I couldn’t even cry.

soooooooo back to the apt, get the paperwork and drive  back to the weird mall the RMV is in, stand in one long line to get a ticket from a cranky lady then wait a really long time.

I got my license (yippee)

BUT we didn’t have all 100 pieces of paper to register the car with. no seriously it’s impossible to do here. screeeeeaaaaaammm.

the real stinky part is no registration=no residential permit for parking. which means having to move the car every 2 hours until at 6pm we can park on a certain st and not get ticketed. because we can’t get our parking permit.   with all three kids today that wasn’t fun.

The great news:

the market asket grocery store near us has cheaper groceries than portland maine!!! we win we win. and its really close. PLUS there is a TRADER JOES near us. whoppeeee

we’re a bit worn out here. I  haven’t unpacked anything today, but largely because we did laundry att the laundrymat. i already had 4 loads and I just needed to zero us back out since both families will be using 1 washer/dryer.

4 loads and $14 later voila clean folded laundry. met one very sweet elderly lady and one slightly creepy man who was shirtless…because he was washing his shirt….and he talked oddly and generally activated all my paranoias.  ha ha ha

and now its all most been 2 hours so i have to get the kids up from nap go retrieve the car and go to the lovely market basket for nutella.

I mean for groceries….good healthy groceries ;0

I shold mention we do finally seem to have obtained the correct paperwork for our registration and just need a few spare hours to waste in line to get it…..

also I do like being near boston and am excited to have adventures here.

and our upstairs neighbors/landlords are cool, so that is cool
