Lily is still potty training. It feels endless. The poor child suffered a set back when she needed to wear diapers due to some unfortunate diarrhea issues we had in the household in the recent past. lets face it diapers are made to collect poo, undies are not (GROSS GROSS GROSS).

Her already sporadic success got a little worse. now we’re just back to her being perfectly potty trained in public and for long car rides and then sometimes standing in the bathroom peeing on the floor- she apparently gets distracted.

we’re back to bribing. this time if she goes two days without peeing herself or shudder pooping herself, she can have a special book I bought her. she’s into it. who knows if that is the extra motivation she needs or if she just gets too distracted at home. but seriously, I have little girl undies and pants to put into EVERY SINGLE LOAD of laundry I do and its making me batty. there is always a search for her undies in the morning, and she has maybe 10 pairs. ahhhhhhhh

anyway, she is oddly into being a big girl, is very proud of herself when she goes pee and poo in the potty and rarely do I suspect she’s doing it because she’s been in trouble and is retaliating or something.  She honestly just seems to flake out over it.

is there any fixing that? oiy

on the bright side its spring and we’ll be out and about more, which is good news since she’s perfectly potty trained outside the home.
