So today the realtor came and took pics of the house and put up a for sale sign. Big doings.

We’re not showing the house until starting Sunday, because there are a few last minute things that need to be done, ie there is a little more money to be spent.

As long as the rain holds off (please please Lord) some guys will come paint my porch tomorrow (that is the outside of the porch) so that the first site people are greeted with as they approach the home is not the nasty peeling paint that is currently there. Not that I notice much, but hey, I live here and there are lots of things we ignored or didn’t address for the last 2 and a half years…..

at any rate, we’re officially for sale, and starting sunday people could even come look. oohhh ahhhh. thats good news..

Now all that needs to happen is I have to start keeping the house spotless or near spotless all the time. HA HA HA HA HA HA. Keeping the house clean when a toddler lives at said house is like putting out a fire with spit. Its a losing battle.

However the lovely showing company need only give me an hour’s notice for a showing and people may start coming as early as 8am. GOOD TIMES. I mean, generally we’re just getting out of bed at 8am. Hopefully only evening people will want to see the house. On the other hand, I;m mostly packing the clutter and so dishes and toys and vacuuming should be my main enemies and those can be dealt with.
