So I am 27 weeks prego and I feel it today.

My beautiful children slept through the night, niether Luke or I ever got up to tend to them. Bruce has had a cold where the coughing wakes him up and disorients him, and Gillian was apparently teething and so her normally really good sleeping was not so good. Luke and I were getting very tired trying to tend to them and their various ailments.

You’d think I’d be dancing around full of energy from getting a bunch of uniterrupted sleep.

Especially since Luke set Bruce up with curious george and I got to stay in bed until 8am and Lily slept further until like 9:30am (she did come over for an am nurse around 7:30 but that is not a bother. I’ll be sad when she is entirely weened. Even if I think I am probably pretty dry, today she actually tried to pour milk from her sippy cup on me…HA).

ah, no.

I have been staying up late working on a project the last few nights so I wasn’t asleep before midnight to start with. Then also I get tired a lot faster now a days. Oh yes, the third trimester, it begins.

The baby is quite the acrobat and often does long artistic routines. Ha. Luke got to feel the baby alot the other night. The “alien” part of the expirence has started, where elbows and feet and things start changing the shape of my belly. HA. It’s fun especially since it is not uncomfortable yet.

I have another midwife appt this week. This is the glucose test, but unlike the nasty orange sugar drink expirament I had done to me the last two times, I get to go eat a ton of pancakes and syrup and oj to spike my sugar and see what happens. AWESOME. I love midwives and their way better ideas. That sugar drink is NOT as yummy as it sounds. Trust me. yuck.

Today is a school day, and I am dragging so slowly we actually took a break to watch word world. Certainly educational and all so I don’t feel guilty I am just surprised how slooooowly I am moving.

I’ll take a new belly pic soon. I feel very large even though everyone keeps saying, “oh my gosh you are SO TINY, I am mean really, you’re  6 months??”
