So it was one of those long-ish mornings when you take 3 hours to clean 2 rooms and a bathroom, and there is yelling and discipline and temper tantrums and wild crazed dancing (its raining out and they are WOUND) today and the baby wants to nurse ALOT blah blah blah blah blah.

So after some pretty heavy arguing about cleaning their room, ahem, the children seemed to be actually doing said chore while I busily mopped away and all that. I moved onto the bathroom, because again, they sounded happy and perhaps even prodctive in their chore work.

yes yes I am delusional. shut up.

I am beckoned to their room.

Bruce: look mommy we made Lily pretty!

me (speechless) ummm….yeah but what were you supposed to be doing? (such a lame mom sometimes)

Bruce…well cleaningbutbut she was being so helpful and it made me happy to do it and she was happy and isn’t she pretty? (politician in training?)

and they win on account of adorable cuteness!

me: oh Lily you ARE pretty!

and then of course they had to point out everything, the necklaces the hair things used as choker style necklaces the 100 bracelts. the comb. Very cute. very funny.
